the two nine
THE RANCH
A place to get away and experience the real Texas ranch life
a working texas ranch
The Two Nine Ranch is a working Texas ranch where horses are raised and trained, cattle are grown, young riders develop their skills, and the land is enjoyed through ranching, riding and hunting.
But life here is about more than the work. With open pastures, wooded areas and plenty of room between you and the outside world, The Two Nine is a place to slow down, get off the pavement and experience ranch life the way it’s meant to be.
horses AT THE TWO NINE
From raising quality horses to professional training and horsemanship, horses are at the heart of life at The Two Nine. We offer ranch, trail and performance horses for sale, along with training for horses and riders of all experience levels.
THE LAND
Rolling pastures, scattered oak trees, water holes and miles of open land. The Two Nine Ranch offers the kind of open space that gives you room to breathe and truly get away.
girls riding program
The Two Nine Ranch Girls Riding Program is designed for young women with a genuine interest in horses and a future in the equine or ranching industry. Through hands-on experience, participants develop practical horsemanship skills, learn the responsibilities of caring for and working with horses, and gain a better understanding of everyday ranch life. It’s an opportunity to explore their interests, build confidence, and discover where their passion for horses could take them.
cattle AT THE TWO NINE
We operate a Hereford-based cow-calf program, raising quality cattle with a focus on good genetics, temperament and real-world performance. Our cattle are part of a genuine working ranch operation, with select breeding stock and calves available.
beyond the pastures
The ranch offers guided hunting experiences on our property, with opportunities for hogs, whitetail and other native game. It’s another way to experience the land and everything it has to offer.
GET A LITTLE LOST OUT HERE
There are places where the noise of everyday life doesn’t follow you.
The Two Nine is one of them.
